Are you looking for a way to age gracefully? Sculptra Aesthetic could be your answer! Your skin’s natural collagen decreases with age causing wrinkles, volume loss, and sagging of the skin. Sculptra (PLLA) is a biocompatible particle that is pre-mixed with sterile water and injected into the tissue. It works by stimulating your body to produce its own natural collagen, supporting your skin’s structural foundation resulting in a more youthful appearance.
Where is it used?
Sculptra can be used in the face and the body. In the face, it is primarily used in the temple, cheek bones, and jawline. By stimulating collagen production it can replace volume loss and provide definition. It can also be injected in the buttocks, thighs and other areas of laxity in the body to tighten, volumize and minimize the appearance of cellulite.
What can I expect at my appointment?
The treatment areas and the amount of product used will determine the length of the procedure. Appointments typically range from 30-60 minutes. A needle or cannula (blunt needle) can be used to inject the product. We offer topical and injectable lidocaine for your comfort. The site will be massaged after injection and you will be instructed on how to do the massage so you’re comfortable and capable of doing this on your own. This product needs to be massaged for 5 minutes, 5 times a day for 5 days.
How often do I need to do this and how much product do I need?
It is recommended to wait 6 weeks between treatments in the same area. Best results are seen after multiple sessions. A good rule of thumb for how much product is needed in the face is one vial per decade of age; this number is approximately how many vials are needed. For example, if you are in your 30’s your total estimated dose would be 3 vials. Maintenance is recommended once per year at approximately 1 vial per year. For the body, it takes 4-5 vials per side on average per treatment to add volume to the buttocks. It takes about 1-2 vials per side per treatment for cellulite reduction.
What is the cost?

How long does it last and how quickly does it work?
Most patients achieve natural-looking results that can last around 2 years. It takes 6-8 weeks for enough collagen to be produced for the treatment to have noticeable change. Most guests have 2-4 appointments to complete their treatment plan, so it often takes 6 months to reach final outcome.
